Over the Summer of 2017 the work of restoring the building, begun with windows, was continued. Much deteriorated wood was replaced, the chimney that let bats into the attic was removed and the front of the clock and bell tower was extensively repaired. We wish to the thank the Community Preservation Commission and citizens of Pembroke for helping us to restore the Town Clock facade and the building that created the Town of Pembroke. A second phase of work will complete the remaining carpentry work on the clock and bell tower.
