Obituary of Margaret E. Neil
Margaret E. Neil, 80 of Pembroke, MA passed away on February 4, 2022. She is survived by her loving husband of more than 59 years, James C. Neil Jr. Margaret was born on July 29, 1941, in Quincy, MA to the late John and Myrtle Brown.
Loving mother of her two sons David J. Neil of Pembroke, John A. Neil and his wife Maureen M. Neil, and proud grandmother to Molly J. Neil and John A. Neil Jr of Sagamore Beach, MA. She is also survived by her sister Sandra Brady of Weymouth, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Margaret was a graduate of Quincy High School and Fisher College. She proudly served as Executive Assistant to the Superintendent of Sliver Lake District and Pembroke Schools for over 35 years until retirement when she enjoyed attending all of her grandchildren’s sporting events, cooking, running, and traveling.
Family and friends are welcome to attend Funeral Services at First Church in Pembroke, 105 Center St. Pembroke, MA on Monday, February 14 at 10:00 AM. There will be a reception for family and friends after services at First Church followed by a burial ceremony at National Cemetery, Bourne, MA at 1:15 PM.
