Loving God,
We have heard of your love towards the children of men and how you won battles for them when they could not win on their own. In times of distress, you became their comfort. In times of hunger, you sent ‘manna’ and quail for food, and in times of thirst, you caused water to spring forth from a rock! As Christians, we take a pause to reflect on your wondrous attributes because we believe that in these trying times, as we unite as a congregation, your love will continue to flow through us and in us. We pray that we can be a light and helper to our friends and neighbors in need. Today we confess our love for you and believe that you will heal, enlighten and encourage us to be your ambassadors in the world. Amen
