Please join us on Sunday morning when we will be ringing FCP Bell, and a moment of silence will be observed at 8:45, 9:03, 9:37 & 10:03.
The CE Team and First Church would like to welcome you back for an exciting year. Today is “Welcome Back Sunday,” better known as “Rally Sunday,” the “2nd Sunday in September,” when traditionally everyone returns from their summer breaks, and we resume our regular Sunday morning routines.
The Choir: will come together on September 11 & 18, 2022, after Sunday Service. See Linda Peterson for more information. If you are interested in joining, all are welcome.
First Church in Pembroke Monthly Meetings for September 2022
The Deacons: will meet on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, in Fellowship Hall at 7:00 pm. Deacons meet on the second Tuesday of the month.
The Thrift Shop: will meet on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at the Thrift Shop at 10:30 am. Thrift Shop meets on the second Wednesday of each month.
The Trustees: will meet on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, in Fellowship Hall at 6:00 pm. Trustees meet on the third Tuesday of the month before the Council Meeting.
The Council: will meet on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, in Fellowship Hall at 7:15 pm. Council meets on the third Tuesday of each month.
The Mission Committee: will meet on Tuesday, September 28, 2022, at the Thrift Shop at 11:00 am. Missions meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month.
The CNK Board: will meet on Tuesday, September 28, 2022, in Fellowship Hall at 6:00 pm.
On-Going Information
Flowers for the Sanctuary: The flower signup sheet can be found outside the Deacons Closet. Please call the office and leave a message if you are interested in ordering flowers for a Sunday Service. Flowers are a beautiful way to remember a loved one and celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or any occasion.
Sunday Fellowship: Thank you to all who either brought a food item or signed up to bring one in. Please remember that these items can be store-bought. Your generosity is appreciated. A signup sheet for this is in Fellowship Hall.
First Church in Pembroke Steeple Lighting: If you would like to light the Steeple for any special occasion, you can contact Joellen Graham via the FCIP Facebook page.
First Church Office Hours: The office will be open on September 13 -15, 2022, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. If after hours, please call 781-293-2584 and leave a message. Someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
