One Great Hour of Sharing Hurricane Ian and Fiona Relief Fund

First Church in PembrokeMissions Committee will have a donation table set up in Fellowship Hall after Service on Sunday, October 16, for the families that Hurricane Ian and Fiona have impacted. First Church would like to show its support. Please consider donating to the Hurricane Ian and Fiona Relief Fund. Thank you to all that contributed last week.

Our hearts go out to the people impacted by recent natural disasters as we see the devastation in their communities. Congregationalists join the country in lifting them in prayer.

The Mission and Outreach Ministry Council (MOMC), on behalf of the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches, is gratefully receiving funds to assist with relief efforts. In times of crisis, the MOMC makes every effort to work through member churches and missions closest to those in need. ECHO International, a NACCC mission, has sustained severe damage. Some NACCC churches in the disaster zone may need assistance. Where our churches and missions are absent, we work through respected and responsible organizations that meet NACCC requirements.

Calling all bakers, your help is needed FCP will be having a Bake Sale in conjunction with the American Red Cross Blood drive in memory of Lee Little. A signup sheet will be in Fellowship Hall. Thank you in advance for your continued support of FCP.

On-Going Information

Flowers for the Sanctuary: The flower signup sheet can be found outside the Deacons Closet. Please call the office and leave a message if you are interested in ordering flowers for a Sunday Service. Flowers are a beautiful way to remember a loved one and celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or any occasion.

Sunday Fellowship: Thank you to all who either brought a food item or signed up to bring one in. Please remember that these items can be store-bought. Your generosity is appreciated. A signup sheet for this is in Fellowship Hall.

First Church in Pembroke Steeple Lighting: If you would like to light the Steeple for any special occasion, you can contact Joellen Graham via the FCIP Facebook page.

First Church Office Hours: The office will be open on October 18-20, 2022, from 8:00 am. to noon. Do not hesitate to contact the church office at 781-293-2584 and leave a message. Someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thrift Shop Hours are Friday & Saturday from 11:00 – 3:00 pm. Spread the word about Pembroke’s hidden gem. Thrift Shop has new inventory coming in all the time at a great price. Tell your family and friends why pay retail prices!
