The church needs all of us to succeed.

- Minutes, once approved, are available to be read in the Office minutes have been moved to the lower shelf for easy access
- Attend a Committee meeting – meetings are open to all and a great way to learn more about your church and find out how you may help
The Deacons, Trustees, and Council meetings are all available via Zoom; please visit firstchurchinpembroke.org, go to the calendar, then go under the date of the meeting, and click on the link to Zoom to join. Please remember that all are welcome to attend these meetings in person so that you will have the most up-to-date information. Transparency is the number one goal for all of us at FCP. Again, if you have questions or concerns, please come to a meeting, or speak to one of the Council Chairs. We all want the same for our church to be the Beacon of Pembroke Community.

Calling all bakers, your help is needed FCP will be having a Bake Sale in conjunction with the American Red Cross Blood drive in memory of Lee Little. A signup sheet will be in Fellowship Hall. Thank you in advance for your continued support of FCP.

First Church in Pembroke Monthly Meetings for October 2022
The Event Planning and Events Committee: will meet on Monday, October 10, 2022, at 10:00 am in Fellowship Hall.
The Deacons: will meet on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, in Fellowship Hall at 7:00 pm. Deacons meet on the second Tuesday of the month. This meeting is also available via Zoom. Please see Firstchurinpembroke.org for the Zoom link.
The Thrift Shop: will meet on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the Thrift Shop at 10:30 am. Thrift Shop meets on the second Wednesday of each month.
The Mission Committee: will meet on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at the Thrift Shop at 11:00 am. Missions meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month.
The Trustees: will meet on Tuesday, October 27, 2022, in Fellowship Hall at 6:00 pm. Trustees meet on the third Tuesday of each month before the Council Meeting. This meeting is also available via Zoom. Please see Firstchurinpembroke.org for the Zoom link.

On-Going Information
Flowers for the Sanctuary: The flower signup sheet can be found outside the Deacons Closet. Please call the office and leave a message if you are interested in ordering flowers for a Sunday Service. Flowers are a beautiful way to remember a loved one and celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or any occasion.
Sunday Fellowship: Thank you to all who either brought a food item or signed up to bring one in. Please remember that these items can be store-bought. Your generosity is appreciated. A signup sheet for this is in Fellowship Hall.
First Church in Pembroke Steeple Lighting: If you would like to light the Steeple for any special occasion, you can contact Joellen Graham via the FCIP Facebook page.
First Church Office Hours: The office will be open on October 11-13, 2022, from 8:00 am. to noon. Do not hesitate to contact the church office at 781-293-2584 and leave a message. Someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
Thrift Shop Hours are Friday & Saturday from 11:00 – 3:00 pm. Spread the word about Pembroke’s hidden gem. Thrift Shop has new inventory coming in all the time at a great price. Tell your family and friends why pay retail prices!
