First Church In Pembroke, Lead by Its Pastor Rev. Miriam Theodore and other church members, visited First Church In Kingston. Rev. Theodore said that “(they) were among many denominations and people who stood with First Church in Kingston at an outside gathering Service because their church building was vandalized during the July 4th weekend”

Local news outlets reported that a man from Plymouth was arrested for vandalizing the First Parish Unitarian Church in Kingston, Massachusetts, on July 4th. He caused significant damage, including destroying 200-year-old shutters, smashing antique glass, and setting fire to Pride and Black Lives Matter flags.

Our hearts go out to the congregation of the historic First Church in Kingston. We stand with them in condemning this act of vandalism and hate. We pray for healing and restoration for their community.
