The Battle is the Lord

Be Thoughtful, Be Silent,
Be Reverent, for this is the House of the Lord.
Before the Service, Speak to God:
During the Service, let God Speak to you,
After the Service, speak to one another kindly.
FIRST CHURCH OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED IN OBSERVANCE OF VETERAN S DAY
Pastor Joy Matos will lead the book group again on November 11, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. We look forward to seeing you all there.
Please consider signing up to bring baked goods for our bake sale on November 16, 2024. It is First Church in Pembroke s 4th Annual Blood Drive/Thanksgiving Bake Sale in Memory of Leland (Lee) Little. Calling all FCP members, your help is needed. Please sign up to donate any baked goods for our 4th annual bake sale. We are also looking for volunteers to help on November 16, 2024. Please sign up to volunteer. We need everyone s help!
On November 30, 2024, the Deacons eagerly await everyone to join them for the ‘Hanging of the Greens.’ This joyous event marks the beginning of the Christmas season when we come together to decorate the Narthex and Sanctuary. The Deacons also request that each family bring a Christmas Ornament to add to the festive tree in the Sanctuary.
During this Thanksgiving/Christmas season, we at First Church in Pembroke will be collecting canned goods, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, etc., to donate to the Firehouse Pantry. Your generous contributions will make a significant impact on those in need. The deacons have placed a container in the Narthex for your convenience. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
