We invite all to attend First Church in Pembroke for our
Sunday Worship Service, which is incredibly significant for our community.
Please join First Church in Pembroke, located at
105 Center Street, November 24, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. for our Sunday Worship Service
By: Pastor Joy Matos
Be Thoughtful, Be Silent,
Be Reverent, for this is the House of the Lord.
Before the Service, Speak to God:
During the Service, let God Speak to you,
After the Service, speak to one another kindly.
Flowers on the altar are in celebration of
Zachary A Palmer s 30th Birthday.
The Event Committee: I would like to thank First Church Members, who once again made the Memorial Blood Drive/Craft – Bake Sale for Leland (Lee) Little another huge success.
Pastor Joy will lead the book group’s final session on November 25, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. We are grateful for her guidance as we, as a church, move forward.
The Deacons would like to invite everyone to join them on November 30, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM for hot Cocoa and cookies for the ‘Hanging of the Greens.‘ This joyous event, filled with excitement and festive spirit, marks the beginning of Advent when we decorate the Narthex and Sanctuary, symbolizing the start of the Christmas season and our shared joy.
During the Christmas season, we at First Church will be collecting canned goods, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, etc., to donate to the Firehouse Pantry. Your generous contributions significantly impact those in need and are a source of pride for our community. The Deacons have placed a container in the Narthex for your convenience. Thank you in advance for your generosity. We have already delivered our Thanksgiving donations and will continue to collect for Christmas.
