Pembroke Resolves Celebration will be held on January 05, 2025, at noon at First Church in Pembroke, 105 Center Street, Pembroke, MA 02359. December 28, 2024, marks the 252nd anniversary of the signing of the Pembroke Resolves. On this day in 1772, five individuals signed a petition called the ‘Pembroke Resolves’ at the First Church in Pembroke. This document, with its bold stance against

the British treatment of the colonies was the first reference to possible separation from England.

Immediately following the gathering at First Church, we will be hosting attendees directly across the street at the Pembroke Historical Museum for a history chat with our Pembroke historians. Several 1700s artifacts directly related to the Resolves signers will be on proud display. Cocoa, coffee & refreshments will be served, and the gift shop will be open. We d love you to join us. -The PHS Team
