Pembroke Memorial Day Ceremony

"We invite all members of the community to join us as we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

The program will begin with a procession of veterans from the Center Cemetery to Veterans Park. Music will be provided by the Pembroke High School Marching Band, and we will hear remarks from someone who had a military member die in the line of duty (a Gold Star family).

Please note: There will be no parade on Memorial Day.

After decades of marking Memorial Day with both parade and ceremony, the Town Memorial Committee has chosen to focus on Memorial Day as a solemn remembrance and reflection honoring its true purpose.

Pembroke’s town parade will now take place on Veterans Day, a more fitting occasion for celebration. Stay tuned for more details about the Veterans Day event.
