The Healey Family has placed flowers on the altar and lit the steeple in memory of Scott Healey s birthday on December 2nd.

Beautifying the Sanctuary: The countdown has begun! We’re excited to welcome the Christmas season. Wow, time has flown where did the year go? We will be ordering Poinsettias for $12 each to enhance the beauty of our sanctuary. Envelopes are available in the pews, or call the church at 781-293-2584 to leave a message with the number of poinsettias and whether they are in memory or in honor of someone. Thank you for helping us create a festive, warm atmosphere.
First Church warmly invites everyone to join us in supporting the Fire House Food Pantry. You can find a donation box in the foyer, and every contribution is deeply appreciated. With many families facing difficult times, your kindness can make a real difference. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generous support it means a great deal to us all.

FIRST CHURCH DECEMBER MONTHLY MEETINGS:
Thrift Shop: will meet on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Thrift Shop at 1:00 pm. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month.
Deacons: will meet on Sunday, December 14, 2025, in Fellowship Hall after Sunday Service. Meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month.
CNK Staff: will meet at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025, in Fellowship Hall. Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month. CNK Board meeting TBD.
Trustees/Council: will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in Fellowship Hall. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month.
Missions: will meet on Sunday, December 28, 2025, in Fellowship Hall after Sunday Service. Meetings are held on the fourth Sunday of each month.
ONGOING INFORMATION
The First Church in Pembroke Community Pancake Breakfast is not just an event but a cherished tradition we proudly uphold. It is a time for our community to unite, share a meal, and strengthen our bonds. Held on the first Saturday of each month, the next one is scheduled for December 13, 2025, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. Remember, Pancake Breakfast is a year-round celebration, a testament to our unity and togetherness.
Flowers for the Sanctuary: The 2025 Flower Signup Sheet is now available outside the Deacons’ Closet. Please don’t hesitate to contact Francine if you’d like to order flowers for the Sunday Service. Flowers are a heartfelt way to honor loved ones and celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions. The current price for flowers is $45.00.
Sunday Fellowship: Thank you to everyone who brought a food item or signed up to bring one. Store-bought items are also welcomed. Your generosity is appreciated. A signup sheet for this is in Fellowship Hall.
Steeple Lighting: If you’d like to light the steeple or have the chimes played for a special occasion, such as a birthday, anniversary, or in memory of a loved one, you can reach out to JoEllen Graham through the FCIP Facebook page. It’s a heartfelt way to celebrate or remember a special moment and share it with our community. The Steeple Lighting and playing of the Chimes beautifully symbolize our unity and support during meaningful life events. It’s a lovely way to share your happiness or comfort with the congregation.
