Prayer Meeting Wednesday, April 8th, 6:30 pm – Everyone is welcome to join!
“The Psalms” on Wednesday, April 8th, will cover Devotional Days: April 1 – 7. Psalms will be hybrid, in person, and will also still be on Zoom. Please check the church calendar on the website for the link.

FIRST CHURCH April 2026 MONTHLY MEETINGS:
Deacons: will meet on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in Fellowship Hall after Sunday Service. Meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month.
Thrift Shop: will meet on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the Thrift Shop at 1:00 p.m. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month.
CNK Staff: will meet at 2:30 p.m. on April 13, 2026, in Fellowship Hall. Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month. The CNK Board will meet at 4:30 p.m.
Trustees/Council: will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, in Fellowship Hall. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month.
Missions: will meet on Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Fellowship Hall after Sunday Service. Meetings are held on the fourth Sunday of each month.
Ongoing 2026
The First Church in Pembroke Community Pancake Breakfast is more than just an event; it’s a valued tradition we proudly maintain. It provides our community with an opportunity to come together, enjoy a meal, and deepen our connections. The upcoming breakfast will take place on the first Saturday of each month, on May 2, 2026, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. Keep in mind, the Pancake Breakfast is a year-round celebration that highlights our unity and community spirit togetherness.
Flowers for the Sanctuary: The 2026 Flower Signup Sheet can be found outside the Deacons’ Closet. Please don’t hesitate to contact Francine if you’re interested in ordering flowers for the Sunday Service.
Flowers are a beautiful way to remember a loved one and celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or any other special occasion. The cost of the flowers is now $45.00.
Sunday Fellowship: Thank you to all who brought a food item or signed up to bring one. Please remember that these items can be store-bought. Your generosity is appreciated. A signup sheet for this is in Fellowship Hall.
First Church in Pembroke Steeple Lighting & Playing of the Chimes: If you would like to light the steeple or play the chimes for any special occasion, such as a birthday, anniversary, or in memory of a loved one, you can contact JoEllen Graham through the FCIP Facebook page. This is a unique way to celebrate a special event and share it with the entire community. The steeple lighting and playing of the chimes symbolize our unity and support for each other during important life moments. It is a meaningful way to share your joy or sorrow with the congregation.

Thrift Shop Hours: Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Help spread the word about Pembroke’s hidden gem! The First Church in Pembroke’s Thrift Shop will be closed until further notice.
