The Psalms on Wednesday, April 29. 2026 at 7:00 pm, will cover Devotional Days: April 22-28. Psalms will be hybrid (in person and on Zoom). Please check the church calendar on the website for the Zoom link.

Water Baptism Class: will meet on Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Fellowship Hall after Sunday Service. This class is open to anyone interested in learning more about water baptism — whether you would like to have an infant baptized, you have never been baptized before, or you were baptized as a child but would like to learn about adult baptism.
FIRST CHURCH MAY 2026 MONTHLY MEETINGS:
Thrift Shop: will meet on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the Thrift Shop at 1:00 p.m. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month.
Deacons: will meet on Sunday, May 17, 2026, in Fellowship Hall after Sunday Service. Meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month.
CNK Staff: will meet at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2026, in Fellowship Hall. Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month. The CNK Board will meet at 4:30 p.m.
Trustees/Council: will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, in Fellowship Hall. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month.
Missions: will meet on Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Fellowship Hall after Sunday Service. Meetings are held on the fourth Sunday of each month.
2026 ONGOING INFORMATION:
The First Church in Pembroke Community Pancake Breakfast is not just an event but a cherished tradition we proudly uphold. It is a time for our community to unite, share a meal, and strengthen our bonds. Held on the first Saturday of each month, scheduled for May 2, 2026, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m., in the Fellowship Hall. Remember, Pancake Breakfast is a year-round celebration, a testament to our unity and togetherness.
Flowers for the Sanctuary: The 2026 Flower Signup Sheet is now available and posted on the door of the Deacon Closet. You can also contact Francine to order flowers for Sunday Services. Flowers are a meaningful way to honor loved ones and celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and other special events. The current price for flowers is $45.00.
Sunday Fellowship: Thank you to everyone who brought a food item or signed up to bring one. Store-bought items are also welcome. Your generosity is appreciated. A signup sheet for this is in Fellowship Hall.
Steeple Lighting: If you’d like to light the steeple or have the chimes played for a special occasion, such as a birthday, anniversary, or in memory of a loved one, don’t hesitate to get in touch with JoEllen Graham via the FCIP Facebook page. It’s a heartfelt way to celebrate or remember a special moment and share it with our community. The Steeple Lighting and playing of the Chimes beautifully symbolize our unity and support during meaningful life events. It’s a lovely way to share your happiness or comfort with the congregation.

Thrift Shop Hours: Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Help spread the word about Pembroke s hidden gem! The First Church in Pembroke s Thrift Shop will be closed on Fridays until further notice.
First Church invites support for the Fire House Food Pantry. . A donation box is in the foyer; every gift helps families in Pembroke and beyond. FCIP appreciates your support it makes a difference.
