Alpha Adult Monday, June 8, 2026, at 6:30 pm in Fellowship Hall.
Prayer Meeting Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 6:30 pm – Everyone is welcome to join!
The Psalms on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 7:00 pm, will cover Devotional Days: May 20-26. Psalms will be hybrid, in person, and will also still be on Zoom. Please check the church calendar on the website for the link.

June 6, 2026, Pancake Breakfast: Invite your family and friends; everyone is welcome to join from 8:00 to 10:00 AM.
June 14, 2026. On the last day of CE, please join us for Ice Cream Sundays in Fellowship Hall after service.

FIRST CHURCH JUNE 2026 MONTHLY MEETINGS:
Deacons: will meet on Sunday, June 7, 2026, in Fellowship Hall after Sunday Service. Deacons meet on the second Sunday of each month.
Thrift Shop: will meet at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the Thrift Shop.
Missions: will meet on Sunday, June 28, 2026, in Fellowship Hall after Sunday Service. Missions meet on the fourth Sunday of each month.
The Trustees/Council: will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, in Fellowship Hall. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month.
The First Church in Pembroke Community Pancake Breakfast is not just an event but a cherished tradition we proudly uphold. It is a time for our community to unite, share a meal, and strengthen our bonds. Held on the first Saturday of each month, the next one is scheduled for June 6, 2026, from 8:00 10:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. Remember, Pancake Breakfast is a year-round celebration, a testament to our unity and togetherness.
Flowers for the Sanctuary: The 2026 Flower Signup Sheet is available outside the Deacons’ Closet. Please don’t hesitate to contact Francine if you want to order flowers for the Sunday Service. Flowers are a beautiful way to remember a loved one and celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or any other special occasion. The cost of the flowers is now $45.00.
Sunday Fellowship: Thank you to all who either brought a food item or signed up to bring one in. Store-bought items are also welcome. Your generosity is appreciated. A signup sheet for this is in Fellowship Hall.
First Church in Pembroke Steeple Lighting & Playing of the Chimes: If you would like to light the Steeple or play the Chimes for any special occasion, such as a birthday, anniversary, or in memory of a loved one, you can contact JoEllen Graham via the FCIP Facebook page. This is a unique way to mark a special event and share it with the entire community. The Steeple Lighting and playing of the Chimes symbolize our unity and support for each other during significant life events. It is a beautiful way to share your joy or sorrow with the congregation.

Thrift Shop Hours: Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Help spread the word about Pembroke s hidden gem! The First Church in Pembroke s Thrift Shop will be closed on Fridays until further notice.
