Today we remember and honor Howard Howie A. Nelson Jr. on his birthday a day that remains deeply meaningful to all who knew and loved him. Howie bravely served his country with honor, completing two tours of duty in Vietnam. During his service, he was exposed to Agent Orange, a sacrifice that reflected his courage and dedication.

Beyond his service, Howie will always be remembered as the best big brother EVER a title he wore with love, loyalty, and unwavering support. His presence brought strength, laughter, and comfort to those closest to him. He is deeply loved and forever missed by his partner in crime, Carol Nelson, and by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he passed on October 22, 1988, his memory lives on in stories shared, in laughter remembered, and in the enduring love that never fades.
