This pivot from “legalistic righteousness” to “grace-based faith” was not an overnight adjustment but a radical reconfiguration of the soul, catalyzed by the courageous intervention of Ananias. Saul’s transformation serves as a universal reminder: the very structures of our religious pride can often become the scales that prevent us from seeing the Messiah who stands directly in our path.
