Red Cross Blood Drive and
Bake Sale April 15, 2023
First Church is supporting a blood drive on April
15, 2023, from 9:00 2:00 pm in honor of Joey Birolini & Billie Hickey.
Both Joey and Billie were outstanding young men who positively impacted
everyone; around them. Both young men were a huge part of the Pembroke
Community. Please keep both families in
your prayers. Once again, we are looking
for bakers to supply us with baked goods to sell that day. The Event Committee
would like to thank the members of First Church for your continued support.
Last year s Bake Sales were a tremendous success for First Church. Thanks to
the generosity of all of you. We could not have done it without all of you!

Meetings
CNK Board:
CNK Board will meet on Tuesday, March 07, 2023, at 6:00 pm in Fellowship
Hall.
Deacons: will meet on Sunday, March 12, 2023, in Fellowship
Hall after Sunday Service. Deacons meet on the second Sunday of the
month. This meeting is available via Zoom. Please visit Firstchurchinpembroke.org for the Zoom link.
Thrift Shop: will meet on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at the Thrift
Shop at noon.
CNK
Staff: will meet on
Monday, March 20, 2023, in Fellowship Hall at 2:30 pm. CNK meets on the third Monday of each month.
Trustees:
will meet on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, in Fellowship Hall at 6:00
pm., followed by the Council meeting at 7:15 pm. Trustees and the
Council meetings are on the third Tuesday of each month. These meetings

Missions:
will meet on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at the church at 11:00 am. Missions meet
on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

Flowers
for the Sanctuary: The 2023 Flower Signup Sheet can be found outside
the Deacons Closet. Please call the
office and leave a message if you are interested in ordering flowers for a
Sunday Service. Flowers are a beautiful way to remember a loved one and
celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or occasion.
Sunday
Fellowship: Thank you to all who either brought a food item or signed
up to bring one in. Please remember that these items can be store-bought. Your
generosity is appreciated. A signup sheet for this is in Fellowship Hall.

Steeple Lighting: If you would like to light the Steeple for any special
occasion, you can contact Joellen Graham via the FCIP Facebook page.
First Church Office
Hours: The office will be open on March 7-9, 2023, from 8:00 am. to noon.

Thrift Shop
Hours are Friday & Saturday from 11:00 – 3:00 pm. Spread the word
