ON-GOING EVENTS FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL
CALLING ALL FIRST CHURCH BAKERS, YOUR HELP IS NEEDED
The Event Committee needs your help. We are looking for bakers
to supply us with baked goods to sell on
April 15, 2023, the day of the Blood Drive. The Event Committee would like to thank the
members of First Church for your continued support. Last year s Bake Sales was
a tremendous success for First Church. Thanks to the generosity of all of you.
We could not have done it without all of you!
Red Cross Blood Drive and Bake Sale April 15,
2023
First Church is supporting a blood drive on April 15, 2023, from
9:00 2:00 pm in honor of Joey Birolini & Billy Hickey. Both Joey and
Billy were outstanding young men who positively impacted everyone; around
them. Both young men were a huge part of the Pembroke Community. Please keep both families in your prayers.

Meetings
Thrift
Shop: will meet on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the Thrift
Shop at noon.
Deacons: will
meet on Sunday, April 16,
2023, in Fellowship Hall after service at 11:15 am. Deacons meet on the second Sunday of the
month. This meeting is available via Zoom. Please visit Firstchurchinpembroke.org for the Zoom link.
CNK Staff: will
meet on Monday, April 24, 2023, in
Fellowship Hall at 2:30 pm. CNK meets on
the third Monday of each month.
Missions: will meet on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at the
church at 11:00 am. Missions meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
Trustees: will meet on Tuesday, April 25,
2023, in Fellowship Hall at 6:00 pm., followed by the Council
meeting at 7:15 pm. Trustees and the Council meetings are on the third
Tuesday of each month. These meetings are available via Zoom. Please

Flowers for the Sanctuary: The 2023
Flower Signup Sheet can be found outside the Deacons Closet. Please call the office and leave a message if
you are interested in ordering flowers for a Sunday Service. Flowers are a
beautiful way to remember a loved one and celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or
occasion.
Sunday
Fellowship: Thank you to all who either brought a food item or
signed up to bring one in. Please remember that these items can be
store-bought. Your generosity is appreciated. A signup sheet for this is
in Fellowship Hall.
First Church in
Pembroke Steeple Lighting: If you would like to light the Steeple for any
special occasion, you can contact Joellen Graham via the FCIP Facebook
page.
First Church Office
Hours: The office will be open on April 11 – 13, 2023, from 8:00 am. to
noon. Do not hesitate to contact the church office at 781-293-2584 and leave a
message. Your call will be returned as soon as possible.
Thrift Shop
Hours are Friday & Saturday from 11:00 – 3:00 pm. Spread the word
about Pembroke’s hidden gem. Tell your family and friends. Why pay retail
prices? New inventory arriving weekly. Many items are on sale. Don t miss out!

Steeple
Lighting
The steeple at First Church will be lit from April 9th –
April 15th in memory and honor of Scott Healey, who passed away 5 years ago on
April 12, 2018. Scott was a guiding light to not only his loving family
and friends but to the First Church of Pembroke community. Scott
remains forever in our hearts, still guiding and leading us through life s
journey. First Church was blessed to have Scott as part of our church
family. He will always be in our hearts and never forgotten.
