First Church Steeple will be lit September 21 28, 2024, in memory of
Robert L. Graham s Birthday.
Flowers on the altar this morning
are in memory of Robert L. Graham.
His loving family misses him very much.
Always in our hearts and minds every day.

First Church s September Monthly Meetings: Please join us!
Missions: will meet on Sunday, September 22, 2024, in Fellowship Hall after Sunday Service. Missions meet on the fourth Sunday of each month.
CNK Board: will meet on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, in Fellowship Hall at 6:00 pm.
First Church s October Monthly Meetings: Please join us!
CNK Staff: will meet on Monday, October 07, 2024, in Fellowship Hall at 2:30 pm.
Thrift Shop: will meet on Wednesday, October 09, 2024, at the Thrift Shop at 1:00 pm.
Deacons: will meet on Sunday, October 13, 2024, after Sunday Service in Fellowship Hall. This meeting is available via Zoom. Please visit Firstchurchinpembroke.org for the Zoom link.
Trustees: will meet on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, in Fellowship Hall at 6:00 pm, followed by the Council meeting at 7:15 pm. Trustees and the Council meetings are on the third Tuesday of each month. These meetings are available via Zoom. Please visit Firstchurchinpembroke.org for the Zoom link.
Missions will meet on Sunday, October 27, 2024, in Fellowship Hall after Sunday Service. Missions meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
On-going Information for September & October
The First Church in Pembroke Community Pancake Breakfast is not just an event, but a cherished tradition that we uphold with pride. It’s a time for our community to come together, share a meal, and strengthen our bonds. Held on the first Saturday of each month, the next one is on October 06, 2024, from 8 10 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. Remember, Pancake Breakfast is a year-round celebration!
Flowers for the Sanctuary: The 2024 Flower Signup Sheet can be found outside the Deacons Closet. Please call the office and leave a message if you are interested in ordering flowers for a Sunday Service. Flowers are a beautiful way to remember a loved one and celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or any other special event. The cost of the flowers is now $40.00.
Sunday Fellowship: Thank you to all who either brought a food item or signed up to bring one in. Please remember that these items can be store-bought. Your generosity is appreciated. A signup sheet for this is in Fellowship Hall.
First Church in Pembroke Steeple Lighting: If you would like to light the Steeple for any special occasion, such as a birthday, anniversary, or in memory of a loved one, you can contact JoEllen Graham via the FCIP Facebook page. This is a unique way to mark a special event and share it with the entire community.
