First Church in Pembroke Weekly Happenings

January 12 – 18, 2025

We invite all to attend First Church in Pembroke for our

Sunday Worship Service is incredibly significant for our community.

Basic Training

By: Reverend Tom Coronite

Be Thoughtful, Be Silent,

Be Reverent, for this is the House of the Lord.

Before the Service, Speak to God:

During the Service, let God Speak to you,

After the Service, speak to one another kindly.

Please remember that pledge cards are due today. Thank you for your generosity

and your continued support of First Church.

As you know, as a Congregational church, it is up to all of us to care for, support, maintain, and grow our church. We must work together to give it our Time, Talent, and Treasure. Without the support of all of us, First Church could cease to exist. As you reflect on your membership in our church and consider your Pledge amount, we ask you also to think about additional ways to support the church: join a Committee, help with Events, talk about the church with your friends, and most importantly, continue to worship here and pray for our church. Thank you to all who have already returned their pledge cards. It is greatly appreciated. We would like to have all pledge cards in by January 12, 2025.

Remember to pick up your 2025 Offering Envelopes this Sunday, January 05, 2025. They will be located in the foyer area before you enter Fellowship Hall. If you have any questions, please see Francine.

The Nominations Committee is actively recruiting for all FCP committees. The Council would like all congregation members to help make our Church the Beacon of Pembroke! We all have a duty to our church.

As good stewards, we must commit to our Church, join a Committee, and make a difference. See Gail, Marge, or Bonnie for more information.

The First Church in Pembroke Community Pancake Breakfast is not just an event but a cherished tradition we proudly uphold. It is a time for our community to come together, share a meal, and strengthen our bonds. Held on the first Saturday of each month, the next one is on February 01, 2025,  from 8 10 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. Remember, Pancake Breakfast is a year-round celebration, a testament to our unity and togetherness.
