“Faith Like Caleb’s”
by Pastor Joy Matos
SUMMARY:
This sermon tells the story of a man named Caleb who trusted God with his whole heart. Long ago, Caleb was one of twelve men sent to look at a new land. Most of the men were afraid of the giants they saw there, but Caleb knew God would help them. Because the people did not trust God, they had to stay in the desert for forty years. Even though Caleb was an outsider called a Kenizzite, he stayed faithful during all those long years. When he was eighty-five years old, he was still strong and ready to follow God’s plan. This story shows us that even when the world is scary or things like gas prices and sickness worry us, we can be brave like Caleb and trust God completely.
