A heartfelt celebration of life will be held at First Church in Pembroke, located at 105 Center Street, Pembroke, Massachusetts, on July 25, 2026, at 1:00 pm. The family warmly invites you to join us for a reception in Fellowship Hall following the service, where we can gather together to share memories of Ben.

FIRST CHURCH august 2026 MONTHLY MEETINGS:
Missions: will meet on Sunday, August 23, 2026, in Fellowship Hall after Sunday Service. Missions meet on the fourth Sunday of each month.
Deacons will meet in August, on a date to be determined, in Fellowship Hall after Sunday Service. Deacons meet on the second Sunday of each month.
The First Church in Pembroke Community Pancake Breakfast is not just an event but a cherished tradition we proudly uphold. It is a time for our community to unite, share a meal, and strengthen our bonds. Held on the first Saturday of each month, the next one is scheduled for August 1, 2026, from 8:00 10:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. Remember, Pancake Breakfast is a year-round celebration, a testament to our unity and togetherness.
Flowers for the Sanctuary: The 2026 Flower Signup Sheet is now available outside the Deacons’ Closet. Please contact Francine if you’d like to order flowers for the Sunday Service. Flowers are a lovely way to honor a loved one or celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or special occasions. The price for flowers has been set at $45.00.
Sunday Fellowship: We express our gratitude to all individuals who have either contributed a food item or registered to do so. Store-bought items are also accepted. Your generosity is deeply appreciated. A sign-up sheet for this purpose is available in the Fellowship Hall.
First Church in Pembroke offers the opportunity to light the Steeple or play the Chimes for special occasions, including birthdays, anniversaries, or in memory of loved ones. To arrange this, contact JoEllen Graham via the FCIP Facebook page. This heartfelt gesture offers a meaningful way to celebrate or memorialize important events and share them with the community. The Steeple Lighting and Chimes symbolize our unity and support during life’s significant moments, offering a beautiful expression of joy.

Thrift Shop Hours: Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Help spread the word about Pembroke s hidden gem! The First Church in Pembroke s Thrift Shop will be closed on Fridays until further notice.
