Community Prayer Meeting, Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 6:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to join!
"Family Game Night An evening of fun and games for all ages on Saturday, September 12, from 4- 6 pm in the Fellowship Hall. We’ll have games and light refreshments.
FIRST CHURCH SEPTEMBER MONTHLY MEETINGS:
Thrift Shop: will meet on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the Thrift Shop at 1:00 pm. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month.
Deacons: will meet on Sunday, September 13, 2026, in Fellowship Hall after Sunday Service. Meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month.
The Trustees/Council: will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, in Fellowship Hall. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month.
CNK Staff Meeting/Board Meeting will meet at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2026, in Fellowship Hall. Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month. The CNK Board will meet at 4:30 p.m.
Missions: will meet on Sunday, September 27, 2026, in Fellowship Hall after Sunday Service. Meetings are held on the fourth Sunday of each month.

Deacons: will meet on Sunday, October 11, 2026, in Fellowship Hall after Sunday Service. Meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month.
Thrift Shop: will meet on Wednesday, October 13, 2026, at the Thrift Shop at 1:00 pm. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month.

The First Church in Pembroke Community Pancake Breakfast is more than an event; it is a cherished tradition we proudly uphold. It is a time for our community to come together, share a meal, and strengthen our bonds. Held on the first Saturday of each month, the next one is scheduled for October 3, 2026, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. The Pancake Breakfast is a year-round celebration, a testament to our unity and togetherness.
Flowers for the Sanctuary: The 2026 Flower Signup Sheet is available outside the Deacons’ Closet. Please contact Francine to honor a loved one or celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or special occasions with flowers. The price is $45.00, providing a meaningful way to remember and celebrate those dear to us.
Sunday Fellowship: Thank you to everyone who has contributed food items or registered to do so. Your generosity strengthens our community bonds. Store-bought items are also welcome. A sign-up sheet is available in the Fellowship Hall to encourage everyone to participate.
First Church in Pembroke offers the opportunity to light the Steeple or play the Chimes for special occasions, including birthdays, anniversaries, or in memory of loved ones. To arrange this, contact JoEllen Graham via the FCIP Facebook page. This heartfelt gesture offers a meaningful way to celebrate or memorialize important events and share them with the community. Steeple Lighting and Chimes symbolize our unity and support during life’s significant moments, offering a beautiful expression of joy.

Thrift Shop Hours: Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Help spread the word about Pembroke s hidden gem! The First Church in Pembroke s Thrift Shop will be closed on Fridays until further notice.
