Dear Church Family and Friends,

Happy Easter!

I hope you will be able to join us this morning for our Resurrection Sunday celebration service. Jesus is alive! And we have an opportunity to rejoice in it together.

Also, tomorrow, Monday, April 6th, at 6:30 p.m. we will kick off our spring session of Alpha. We had over 17 people participate in the fall and received excellent evaluations. So, if you or someone you know is interested in learning more about the foundations of the Christian faith and of having an opportunity to engage in lively conversations about the topic of the evening (or just listen to others thoughts) I invite you (and your family, friends, and neighbors) to our no-obligation introductory session tomorrow evening. Plus, you don t have to cook; dinner will be provided!

In a few weeks, on Sunday, April 20th, at 2 p.m., we will gather with our sister churches right here at First Church in Pembroke for an Ecclesiastical Council of the Vicinage, followed by my installation service and a delicious dinner.  I m really excited about it. I hope you are, too. So, please mark your calendars and come.

On a separate note: As many of you know, I love good theatre.  And C.S. Lewis is one of my favorite Christian authors. So, I d like to share with you a fabulous opportunity to see C.S. Lewis  The Screwtape Letters, brought to Boston by the Fellowship of Performing Arts (https://fpatheatre.com/), on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., at the Emerson Cutler Majestic Theatre, 219 Tremont Street, Boston. I ve seen it before and highly recommend it. I apparently found out about it late, so the show is almost sold out; therefore, if you d be interested in seeing it, don t wait to go online and get your tickets.

If you or someone you know would like prayer for any reason during the week, please send your Prayer Requests to prayer.fcip@gmail.com and Freda Burke will send your Prayer Request out to our Email Prayer Team. Prayer will start immediately. You don’t have to wait until Sunday morning to share your requests for prayer.

If you d like to chat, please see me, call at (781) 206-2252, or email me at pastorjoy.fcip@gmail.com.

Love you all!

Grace and Peace,

Pastor Joy
