Ongoing 2025
The Nominations Committee: is actively recruiting for all FCP committees. The Council would like all congregation members to help make our Church the Beacon of Pembroke! We all have a duty to our church. As good stewards, we must commit to our Church, join a committee, and make a difference. See Gail, Marge, or Bonnie for more information.
The First Church in Pembroke Community Pancake Breakfast is not just an event but a cherished tradition we proudly uphold. It is a time for our community to unite, share a meal, and strengthen our bonds. Held on the first Saturday of each month, the next one is on April 05, 2025, from 8 10 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. Remember, Pancake Breakfast is a year-round celebration, a testament to our unity and togetherness.
Flowers for the Sanctuary: The 2025 Flower Signup Sheet (available soon) will be located outside the Deacons Closet. Please contact Francine if you are interested in ordering flowers for Sunday Service. Flowers are a lovely way to honor a loved one and celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or any special occasion. The cost of the flowers is now $45.00.
Sunday Fellowship: Thank you to all who either brought a food item or signed up to bring one in. Please remember that these items can be store-bought. Your generosity is appreciated. A signup sheet for this is in Fellowship Hall.
First Church in Pembroke Steeple Lighting & Playing of the Chimes: If you would like to light the Steeple or play the Chimes for any special occasion, such as a birthday, anniversary, or in memory of a loved one, you can contact JoEllen Graham through the FCIP Facebook page. This provides a unique way to commemorate a special event and share it with the entire community. The Steeple Lighting and playing of the Chimes symbolize our unity and support for one another during significant life events. It is a beautiful way to express your joy or sorrow with the congregation.
