First Church June Monthly Meetings:
Deacons: will meet on Sunday, June 8, 2025, in Fellowship Hall after
Sunday Service. Deacons meet on the second Sunday of each month.
Thrift Shop: will meet at the Thrift Shop Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at
1:00 pm.
The Trustees/Council: will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in Fellowship Hall. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month.
Missions: will meet on Sunday, June 29, 2025, in Fellowship Hall
after Sunday Service. Missions meet on the fourth Sunday of each month.
The First Church in Pembroke Community Pancake Breakfast is not just an event but a cherished tradition we proudly uphold. It is a time for our community to unite, share a meal, and strengthen our bonds. Held on the first Saturday of each month, the next one is scheduled for June 07, 2025, from 8:00 10:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. Remember, Pancake Breakfast is a year-round celebration, a testament to our unity and togetherness.
Flowers for the Sanctuary: The 2025 Flower Signup Sheet is available outside the Deacons’ Closet. Please don’t hesitate to contact Francine if you want to order flowers for the Sunday Service. Flowers are a beautiful way to remember a loved one and celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or any other special occasion. The cost of the flowers is now $45.00.
Sunday Fellowship: Thank you to all who either brought a food item or signed up to bring one in. Please note that store-bought items are also welcome. Your generosity is appreciated. A signup sheet for this is in Fellowship Hall.
First Church in Pembroke Steeple Lighting & Playing of the Chimes: If you would like to light the Steeple or play the Chimes for any special occasion, such as a birthday, anniversary, or in memory of a loved one, you can contact JoEllen Graham via the FCIP Facebook page. This is a unique way to mark a special event and share it with the entire community. The Steeple Lighting and playing of the Chimes symbolize our unity and support for each other during significant life events. It is a beautiful way to share your joy or sorrow with the congregation.

The First Church in Pembroke s Thrift Shop will be closed on Fridays until further notice.

Community Pancake Breakfast is not just an event; it’s a cherished tradition

Hall, 105 Center Street, Pembroke. Remember, the Pancake Breakfast is a
year-round celebration, a testament to our unity and togetherness.
First Church offers a delightful combination of pancakes, sausage, and a choice
of beverages for only $5. This is a time for good food and fellowship. Seating
is available in Fellowship Hall, and we also offer a grab-and-go option. Place
your order, and the pancakes and sausages will be packed and ready shortly
thereafter. It’s a great way to start your day and you don’t have to cook!
