Alex is from Braintree, Massachusetts and has been a lifelong member of the South Congregational Church. After going through the Sunday School he became an active member of the Youth Group, where he assisted in preparing biweekly activities. He served as a deacon in the church for five years, and led the diaconate for four years as the chairperson, in addition to filling various roles as an auditor, on the by-law review committee, and on the executive cabinet. Alex graduated from UMass Boston in 2020 with a degree in mathematics before deciding to enter seminary, and he now studies at Boston University School of Theology.
